Salambigar: The Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, organized a successful “Maritah! Menderma Darah” Campaign. This event was part of the World Environment Day 2025 celebrations and took place at a shopping complex in Salambigar on the morning of June 10th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the campaign managed to collect a total of 46 pints of blood. The initiative aimed to not only increase the blood bank reserves but also act as a joint effort to promote social responsibility within the community. By encouraging blood donation, the campaign sought to instill the practice as a lifelong health habit among participants.
