Berakas: The Language and Literature Bureau, through its Publication and Marketing Division, is hosting a Mega Book Discount event in celebration of World Book Day 2026. The event is taking place at Balai Sarmayuda, located within the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Mega Book Discount is accessible to the general public, government entities, private businesses, and school libraries, spanning three days from May 2nd to May 4th, 2026. The event runs daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering discounts of up to 80 percent on a selection of over 800 books, magazines, and journals, including academic publications. Attendees have the opportunity to make bulk or wholesale purchases.
