The Minister of Religious Affairs stated the matter during a working visit by the Ministry of Religious Affairs delegation to religious schools in conjunction with the first school term session of 2026.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman also highlighted the importance of the ministry's role in fulfilling the hopes of parents and ensuring the success of their children, especially in formal religious education, which are implemented in a quality and effective manner.
