The Interior Decoration Project for the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Manggis/ Madang is hoped to create a more attractive environment and increase the spirituality of mosque congregants and visitors. Apart from adding to the beauty and beauty of the mosque interior with decorative decoration of Quranic calligraphy, it can also increases the congregants appreciation of the Al-Qur'an verses, tasbih and zikir with Asmaul Husna. The mosque's interior decoration project was completed on the 10th of October with the cost of over 220 thousand dollars. It was carried out in conjunction with 10th anniversary of the mosque. All motifs have been carefully blended to produce a design that decorates the verses of Al-Qur'an, Asmaa Ul-Husna and Kalimah Zikir, which is unique and specific. In writing Asmaul Husna, the Interior Decoration Committee also utilised the skills of local calligraphers from the Islamic Calligraphy and Arts Studies Centre of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The Ta kmir Committee Advisors and the academic staff of local higher education centres also provided guidance and advice in the selection of Al-Quran verses. All calligraphy was examined and verified and approved by the Islamic Da'wah Centre before the manufacturing process is carried out by Yayasan Restu, Malaysia. Source: Radio Television Brunei
