Bandar seri begawan: Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore's Ministry of Manpower, focusing on work attachment. This MoU represents SHENA's inaugural international partnership and its first collaboration with an ASEAN member state in the domain of occupational safety and health.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who serves as the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, as well as the Minister Responsible for SHENA. The MoU was signed by Awang Haji Muhsin bin Haji Ahmad, SHENA's Chief Executive Officer, and Silas Sng, Divisional Director for the Occupational Safety and Health Division at Singapore's Ministry of Manpower.
