National Athletes Return Home After Southeast Asian Games

Brunei: 31 members of Brunei Darussalam's contingent, including the Sepak Takraw and Netball teams, along with Secretariat and Medical Officers, returned home on the 19th of December in the late afternoon, following their participation in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games held in Thailand.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the contingent was warmly welcomed at the Brunei International Airport by Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, the Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The national Sepak Takraw team achieved a commendable result by securing a bronze medal in the Men's Hoop event, marking a proud moment for Brunei in the regional sports arena.
