Bandar seri begawan: Various organizations in Brunei celebrated the holy month of Ramadhan with numerous Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremonies and donation presentations for those in need. Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, through its Students Affairs Office, held a Nuzul Al-Qur'an Celebration featuring the closing of Tadarus Al-Qur'an, breaking of fast, and donation presentations for orphans within the UNISSA community. The event was attended by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA, and saw 32 orphans receiving donations.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the celebrations continued with the Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera dan Arkitek, PUJA Brunei, hosting a Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony at the Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Jangsak. Donations were presented to 21 recipients by Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, and Dato Seri Paduka Architect Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Chairman of PUJA.
The Muslimah Affairs Division, Mosque Affairs Department, in partnership with Masjid Universiti Takmir Committee, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, organized a Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony for Muslimah guidance classes nationwide at Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. The event was graced by Datin Hajah Binanun binti Haji Bungso, Wife of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
In addition, the Brunei Muara Senior Citizens Activity Centre held a ceremony at the RPN Lambak Kanan Dua Community Hall, attended by Awang Iswandy Bin Ahmad, Assistant Managing Director (Social Development Welfare Services) of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Donations to 13 orphans and certificates to Khatam participants were also presented.
The Brunei Darussalam Women's Council organized a Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Manggis/Madang, with Datin Hajah Dayang Siti Hajar binti Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mohd Yusof, President of the Brunei Darussalam Women's Council, in attendance.
Lastly, the Jerudong Park Medical Centre, along with its Ibadah Friendly Hospital Committee, Gleneagles JPMC, and JPMC Public Relations Unit, conducted a Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony at Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque in Kampung Jerudong. Donations were made to 31 orphans, marking the occasion's significance during the Ramadhan festivities.
