Gadong: The weekend market, known as Pasar Kitani, is set to make its return for a special two-day event in conjunction with the Brunei December Festival 2025, starting on December 27th. This event provides an alternative platform for local entrepreneurs and farmers to market their agricultural products.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Pasar Kitani will be held at the Rimba Agribusiness Centre in Gadong. The market will feature a wide array of items, including fruits, vegetables, plants, and agrifood products. The event also serves as a vital opportunity for entrepreneurs to interact directly with the public, promoting their fresh produce and expanding their marketing network each weekend.

Awang Mohammad Dhiyaulhaziq Bin Haji Nordin, Assistant Agriculture Officer and Head of the Agribusiness Unit, stated that those interested in participating can register at the Department of Agriculture's headquarters or its branches. Pasar Kitani will be conducted every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., allowing ample time for both sellers and buyers to engage in this community initiative.
