Brunei muara: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, attended the Presentation of House Keys under the National Housing Scheme for Brunei Muara District at the BRIDEX Conference Hall, Jerudong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Coordinating Minister for Social and Manpower Policies and Minister of Home Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development. The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Pengiran Haji Shahril Azman bin Pengiran Haji Metusin, Syariah Subordinate Court Judge.

Pengiran Md Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer, emphasized in his welcoming address that the presentation of house keys is aimed at providing a comfortable living environment for the recipients. His Majesty personally handed over the house keys to 300 beneficiaries during the ceremony.

The ceremony concluded with a doa selamat, read by the Syariah Subordinate Court Judge, marking the successful completion of the event.
