Bandar seri begawan: The appointment of new Mosque Takmir Committee members is an important step in ensuring that mosque management remains relevant, organised, and in line with the needs of the community.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Presentation of Appointment Letters for the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque New Takmir Committee Members for the 2026 to 2028 session was held on the night of January 24th. The appointment letters were presented by Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs. A total of 107 individuals have been appointed for the upcoming session. The function also featured a motivational talk titled "United Towards Mosque Takmir Excellence."
