SEA Games Contingent Returns Home with Medals

Bandar seri begawan: The Brunei Darussalam contingent comprising Wushu, Pencak Silat, Swimming, and Weightlifting teams returned home after participating in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand. Present at the Brunei International Airport to welcome the national contingent was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the national Wushu athletes achieved significant success, winning one gold medal, one silver, and two bronze medals. The Pencak Silat athletes also made a mark by securing one silver medal in the competition.

The Southeast Asian Games, held in Bangkok, provided a platform for athletes from Brunei to showcase their skills and dedication. The achievements of the national contingent have brought pride to the nation, and their return was celebrated with enthusiasm and support from the government and the public alike.
