The Ministry of Education and Unified National Networks Sendirian Berhad, UNN; has signed an Agreement for the supply of Laptops and Internet Data for Teachers and Students. This was part of the efforts to assist underprivileged students and teachers from government schools under the Ministry of Education for online teaching and learning.
The signing was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Minister of Education. Signing on behalf of the Ministry of Education was Dr. Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, while UNN was represented by Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Permanent Secretary for Investment at the Ministry of Finance and Economy as Deputy Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. The 3-year project is run by a Consortium of UNN Companies with local telecommunications companies.
