Standing Pipes Prepared for the General Public

Bandar seri begawan: The water supply disruption due to landslides that occurred in Kampung Batang Mitus on 29th of January has affected several areas in the Brunei Muara District.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the authorities have responded to the situation by preparing standing pipes to ensure the general public has access to water during this period. The landslides have significantly disrupted the normal water distribution networks, prompting the need for alternative water supply solutions.

Efforts are underway to mitigate the impact of the disruption, and the standing pipes are strategically placed in accessible locations for residents. The authorities are also working on restoring the affected infrastructure to resume regular water supply as soon as possible.

Residents are advised to stay informed through official channels for updates on the situation and any further instructions regarding water access and safety measures. The coordination between local authorities and emergency services aims to address the situation efficiently and minimize inconvenience to the affected areas.
