Bandar seri begawan: The Sunat Hajat Prayer and Special Doa focusing on the health and well-being of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam continued on the evening of 16th January. The prayers were conducted after the Fardhu Maghrib prayer across mosques, surau, and religious halls throughout the nation.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony in Brunei Muara District was centered at Az-Zakireen Mosque, Kampung Meragang. In Belait District, the Zainab Mosque in Lumut served as the venue for the prayers. The Bukit Beruang National Housing Scheme Mosque hosted the event in Tutong District, while in Temburong District, the prayers were held at Kampung Rataie National Housing Scheme Mosque.

These ceremonies are set to continue, with additional events planned for the evening of 18th January, following the Fardhu Maghrib prayer.
