Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, who serves as the Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors, participated in a Tahlil ceremony in conjunction with Ramadhan. The ceremony was held to honor Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. Organized by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the event took place at the Royal Mausoleum on the morning of 26th February.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Royal Highness was welcomed upon arrival by several dignitaries, including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and a member of the Yayasan Committee of Governors. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, who serves as the Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health and Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors.

The ceremony included the recitation of Surah Yasin, Tahlil, and Doa Arwah, which was led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Metassan bin Haji Tahir. Following the prayers, His Royal Highness performed the ritual of pouring 'aing asah-asahan' or scented water on the graves of the late royal family members, as a mark of respect and remembrance.
