Bandar seri begawan: The Zainul Quran Workshop has reinforced the significance of Al-Qur'an reading and internalisation, aiming to nurture a generation of Qari and Qariah who will elevate the nation's status on an international level.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop, which featured an International Qari, was held alongside the Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Reading for Adults. It offered participants a comprehensive learning experience to enhance their Al-Qur'an reading quality. The workshop focused on various aspects including tarannum, vocal techniques, breathing control, and presentation of reading.

Under the guidance of Mohamad Husaini bin Mahmur, a renowned Qari from Malaysia, participants saw a notable improvement in their skills and confidence. The intensive training provided at the workshop allowed participants to deliver their readings with greater proficiency.

The use of tarannum, a melodic recitation style, is particularly effective in engaging the younger generation, drawing them closer to the Al-Qur'an through the beauty of its recitation.
