Bangkok, The House of Representatives has accepted the draft bill to increase the 2024 budget by 122 billion baht. Digital Wallet found 15 government MPs missing. Reporters reported on the House meeting, the agenda to consider the draft of the additional budget bill for fiscal year 2024, B.E. ..., with a budget of 122 billion baht, which the Cabinet proposed to be used in the 10,000 baht top-up project via digital wallets, which took more than 10 hours of debate and the debaters had finished. The meeting voted whether to accept the principle of the draft bill or not, with a majority vote of 297 to accept the principle, while 164 did not accept the principle. Then, a special committee (Committee) will be set up to study the matter, consisting of 32 people, with the following proportions: 8 people from the Cabinet, 24 MPs, according to the political party proportions: Pheu Thai Party 7 people, Move Forward Party 7 people, Bhumjaithai Party 3 people, Palang Pracharath Party 2 people, Ruam Thai Sang Chart Part y 2 people, Democrat Party 1 person, Chartthaipattana Party 1 person, and Prachachart Party 1 person. The amendment period is set at 2 days. For the consideration period of the special committee of 5 days and to be presented to the House of Representatives for consideration of agenda 2-3 on 31 July. The reporter reported that for the said approval vote, it was found that the government MPs with 314 votes did not vote in full, with 15 people missing the ballot. Source: Thai News Agency
