Tungku: The Tourist Guide Manual, a foundational resource designed to ensure the safety and well-being of tourist guides and visitors, was officially launched at the Mutiara Exchange in Tungku. The launch event took place on the afternoon of February 2nd. According to Radio Television Brunei, the manual was inaugurated by Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abd Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. It includes dedicated modules that outline best practices for guiding tours, covering aspects before, during, and after each tour. The ceremony also spotlighted the Career Progression Framework for Tourist Guides, which was first introduced in 2024. This framework is intended as a strategic initiative to elevate the quality and professionalism of tourist guiding services.
