Tutong: Two companies have been issued compound fines for illegal dumping and accumulating garbage in public areas. The companies, Syarikat Abro Sendirian Berhad and Syarikat Crescent Moon Sendirian Berhad, were found responsible for the violations at the Kampung Bukit Panggal project site in the Tutong District.

According to Radio Television Brunei, both companies were fined BND2,000 each. They have been given a period of seven days to settle the fines following their breaches of the Miscellaneous Offences Act. The authorities have taken this step to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain the cleanliness of public spaces.
