Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with the 40th Anniversary celebration of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), the UTB Energy Spectrum Symposium: Integrating Upstream, Downstream and Renewable Frontiers was held on the morning of May 18th. The event was graced by the presence of Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the symposium acted as a multidisciplinary platform that brought together academia, industry, and government agencies. The aim was to bolster collaboration to advance solutions aligned with Brunei Darussalam's energy transition agenda and sustainable development goals. A highlight of the event was the symbolic exchange of a Sponsorship Agreement between UTB and Shell Deepwater Borneo B.V., initially signed on May 1st. This agreement aims to enhance collaboration in advancing applied research, industry engagement, and talent development.
