Mukim sengkurong: The Voting and Selection of Village Heads for Kampung Jerudong 'A', Kampung Sengkurong 'B', and Kampung Selayun took place at the Mukim Sengkurong Community Hall on the morning of June 14th. Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer, was present to oversee the proceedings.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the candidates vying for the position of village head were Awang Mohammad Nazmi Fa'iz bin Haji Abu Bakar, aged 34, Awang Mohammad Shahrizan bin Masri, aged 49, and Awang Muhammad Faris Syah bin Haji Hanafi, aged 34. The selection process aimed to appoint leaders who would effectively represent and manage the interests of the respective kampungs.
