His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman on 19th August morning, visited the Raja Kita Exhibition, held at the Department of Museums Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. Accompanying His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness were Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman; and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa’ Raihaanul Bolkiah. The exhibition is an initiative to uphold the Institution of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong within the system of Parliamentary Democracy and the Concept of a Constitutional King, so that it will continue to be preserved as a symbol of sovereignty that protects Malaysian citizens.
The arrival of His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Senator Saraswathy Anak Perempuan Kandasami, Deputy Mi
nister of National Unity; and Yang Berbahagia Datuk Kamarul Baharin bin A. Kasim, Director-General of the Department of Museums Malaysia.
During the visit, His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness were briefed by Yang Berbahagia Director-General of the Department of Museums Malaysia and Curator of the Royal Abu Bakar Museum on the Raja Kita Exhibition which is being held in conjunction with the Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia that took place on 20th July 2024. The exhibition brings together 272 collections, among others, the State Crown and Crown Jewels worn during the Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim as the fifth Sultan and Sovereign Ruler of the State and Territory of Johor Darul Ta’zim and Her Royal Highness Raja Zarith Sofiah as the Permaisuri of Johor; the Federal Regalia; and personal collections of the King of Malaysia and the Queen of Malaysia.
