Workshop with International Qari Closing Ceremony at Religious School

Jerudong: The Zainul Qur'an Workshop with International Qari in conjunction with the Final of the National Level Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Reading for Adults 1447 Hijrah/2026 lowered its curtains with a closing ceremony. It took place at Pengiran Anak Puteri Mutawakillah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School, Kampung Serusop, 5th May afternoon. Present was Awang Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The event included the presentation of certificates and appreciation to the facilitators and participants.

According to Radio Television Brunei, throughout the workshop, participants were given comprehensive exposure in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an reading, covering aspects of tarannum, vocal techniques, breathing control, and recitation performance. The initiative aimed to enhance the participants' proficiency by focusing on the intricate details of Qur'anic recitation. The workshop sought to provide a detailed understanding of the nuances involved in effective Qur'an reading, ensuring that participants left with a greater appreciation and skill set in this sacred art form.

The event not only highlighted the importance of maintaining high standards in religious practices but also fostered a sense of community and shared learning among the attendees. The successful completion of the workshop was marked by a sense of achievement and recognition for the participants who devoted their time and effort to mastering the recitation of the Qur'an.
