The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Ta’zeez Al-Lughah Al-‘Arabiah Bil-Madaris Al-‘Arabiah Programme Unit held a World Arabic Language Day Celebration 2021. The opening ceremony took place yesterday morning virtually.
Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, in his speech outlined the role of Arabic Language in teaching and learning which is closely linked to daily life. Themed ‘Arabic Language, a bridge between civilisations’, the ceremony is hoped to achieve the objective of promoting Arabic Language use in Brunei Darussalam specifically for Arabic school teachers and students. Therefore, teachers and students are hoped to be able to integrate modern technology and enhance Arabic Language teaching and learning methods.
