Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Board of Governors, graced the Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony organized by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in conjunction with Ramadhan. The ceremony occurred at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and member of the Yayasan Board of Governors; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, acting as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; and Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development, as Acting Managing Director of Yayasan.

The ceremony commenced with the reading of takhtim Al-Qur'an led by Awang Ahmad Rithaudin bin Haji Sabtu, an Officer at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. A group of 30 officers and staff of Yayasan completed their Al-Qur'an readings. Doa Khatam and Doa Selamat were recited by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustapa bin Haji Murat.

The event continued with the breaking of the fast and a mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer. Attendees included members of the Yayasan Board of Directors, Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans Board of Trustees, invited guests, officers and staff of Yayasan, as well as teachers from Yayasan School.
