Youth Encouraged to Uphold National Identity and Values

Bandar seri begawan: In this blessed month, the youth as the heirs to the country's leadership are urged to continue to strengthen their identity, instil love for the Monarch, religion, and country, and increase their acts of worship with sincerity.

According to Radio Television Brunei, such efforts are important in ensuring that the spirit of nationhood is always in line with religious demands, following the principles of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah and Mazhab Syafie, based on the Malay Islamic Monarchy Philosophy. The Minister of Religious Affairs emphasized these points during an interview with RTB in conjunction with the 42nd National Day.

The Minister highlighted the crucial role of the youth in shaping the future of the nation, stressing that their actions today will determine the country's trajectory. By fostering a deep connection with the country's traditions and values, the younger generation can contribute to a harmonious and prosperous society.

The interview underscored the significance of aligning national identity with religious practices, suggesting that this alignment is key to maintaining a cohesive national spirit.
