Berakas: The 32nd Consumer Fair and Trade Expo is currently underway at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. Organised by D'Sunlit Sendirian Berhad, the event commenced on 28th January 2026 and continues to serve as the nation's leading platform for trade facilitation, knowledge exchange, regional cooperation, and public engagement, aiming to foster business growth and cross-border commercial opportunities.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the expo was officially inaugurated by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Acting Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. This year's theme, 'The Unstoppable You," highlights the significance of resilience, adaptability, and continuity in today's dynamic commercial landscape. The expo features more than 120 food stalls, supported by a newly renovated dining area that promises a larger and more comfortable experience for visitors compared to previous years.

Additionally, the launch of China Day 2026 was held in conjunction with the expo, co-organised by the Brunei Chinese Chamber of Commerce and supported by the Wushu Federation of Brunei Darussalam. The event showcases various aspects of Chinese cultural heritage through multiple programmes and activities. The expo remains open to the public until 1st February, from 10 AM to 10 PM, providing ample opportunity for attendees to explore and engage.
