Bandar seri begawan: Brunei Darussalam and India are set to enhance their bilateral relations, as emphasized by His Excellency Ramu Abbagani, the High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam, during a reception celebrating India's 77th Republic Day. The event took place at Tarindak D'Polo Royal Berkshire Hall in Jerudong on the night of January 27th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Excellency highlighted the significance of direct interactions between the citizens of both nations, underscoring that shared values and cultural similarities form the backbone of the relationship. Representing the Government of His Majesty at the event was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications.
