Brunei: The Al-Qur'an Reading Monitoring for the 80 Times Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony for Members of the Mukim and Kampung Consultative Councils and Students took place at selected mosques across the nation to honor His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 80th Birthday Celebration on the afternoon of June 11th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony in Brunei Muara District was held at Jame 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Kampung Kiarong, attended by Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.

Meanwhile, the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque served as the focal point in the Belait District, where Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs, was present.

In Tutong District, the event took place at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town, with the presence of Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

In Temburong District, the ceremony was conducted at Utama Muhammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town, attended by Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, Permanent Secretary for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office.
