Berakas: The Voting and Selection of the Village Head for Kampung Tanjong Nangka was conducted at the Sengkurong Community Hall on the morning of January 4th, aiming to select a village head who will serve as a liaison between the government and the local community.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Mohammad Rakin bin Ramli secured the position with 199 votes, surpassing Awang Rozan bin Haji Kaderi/Haji Bujang who received 31 votes. The event was attended by notable figures such as Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohamed, a Member of the Legislative Council, and Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhamad, the Brunei Muara District Officer.
