Bandar seri begawan: In a significant move towards promoting inclusive employment, the Bridging Employment with Able Mindset (BEAM) Forum was convened at a hotel in the capital on the morning of June 11. The forum aimed to raise awareness, foster understanding, and encourage action to support neuro-divergent individuals in the workplace.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the forum addressed several key topics such as inclusive hiring practices, employer readiness, and workplace support. The sessions were tailored for employers, organizations, government agencies, NGOs, community partners, and stakeholders. The goal was to disseminate knowledge about creating inclusive employment opportunities and workplaces that are supportive of neuro-divergent individuals.
The sessions included presentations from various speakers who shared insights on establishing more inclusive and sustainable work environments.
