Gadong: The You C-1000 Basketball Cup Tournament, held in conjunction with the Royal Birthday, began last night at the Batu Bersurat Basketball Court. The tournament features a competitive lineup with 10 teams competing in the Men’s Open Category, 5 teams in the Women’s Open Category, and 4 teams in the Men’s Under-18 Category.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the opening matches saw some decisive victories. In the Women’s Open Category, CJMM secured a significant win against Minimau, with a final score of 94 to 18. In the Men’s Open Category, Easyway triumphed over Wan Sing with a score of 91 to 60.

The tournament has generated significant interest among local basketball enthusiasts, with matches expected to continue in the coming days at the same venue.
