Belait: The Ministry of Finance and Economy, in collaboration with the Belait District Office, organized a tour programme in the Belait District to promote the 12th National Development Plan (RKN 12). The event took place at the Kuala Belait Conference Hall on the morning of 20th November.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Awang Mohd Faiq bin Haji Rani, the Acting Belait District Officer. The focus of the programme was on the active involvement of penghulu mukim, village heads, and the private sector, emphasizing their roles as drivers of economic growth. The initiative also highlighted the participation of local entrepreneurs and developers in ensuring the success of development projects across the country.

RKN 12 in the Belait District aims to enhance basic infrastructure, including industrial areas, educational and health facilities. Additionally, it seeks to implement digitalization and green technology initiatives that would support new economic growth in the region.
