Nadwah Highlights Anti-Bullying Efforts and Religious Moderation in Temburong

Temburong: Bullying’s negative impacts and its contradiction with Islamic values were key topics at a discussion on contemporary issues aimed at increasing understanding of the Ahli Sunnah Waljama’ah. The event emphasized the need for a Whole of Nation approach and collaboration to strengthen prevention efforts across all levels of society. It was held at the official residence of the Temburong District Officer on the morning of November 20th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the discussion was attended by Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer. It aimed to instill values of religious moderation and family according to the Ahli Sunnah Waljama’ah while identifying contemporary Fiqh approaches to address current family issues. A lecture was also presented on the ‘Concept of Religious Moderation in Brunei Darussalam.’
