Salambigar: The Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam Secondary School Parents and Teachers Association organized an Iftar Ceremony to celebrate Ramadan and engage with the orphans from the school. The event was held on the late afternoon of March 10th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony saw the participation of Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adanan bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Haji Md. Yusof, a Member of the Legislative Council. During the event, forty-one orphans received donations from the school's staff and alumni from the years 1985 to 1989. The gathering took place at a shopping centre in Salambigar, fostering a sense of community and support during the holy month of Ramadan.
