Cemetery Cleaning Campaign Conducted at Sugan Muslim Cemetery

Tutong: A cleaning campaign was organized by the Kampung Panchor Consultative Council at Sugan Muslim Cemetery in the Tutong District on the morning of February 7. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining the cleanliness and purity of cemetery areas.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by various community members, including Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, the Acting Tutong District Officer. The campaign saw participation from the Tutong Municipal Department, Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong Town Takmir Committee, and Congregants. Additionally, residents from Kampung Panchor Dulit, Panchor Papan, and Kampung Suran joined in the efforts to clean the cemetery.

The collaborative effort highlighted the community's commitment to preserving the sanctity of the cemetery and promoting a clean environment. The event served not only as a cleanup drive but also as an opportunity for community engagement and cooperation among the various participating groups.
