Bandar seri begawan: The Youth Centre has inaugurated a new reading corner aimed at fostering an interest in reading and nurturing a love for books among the public. This initiative is part of the services provided by the Language and Literature Bureau.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch event was officiated by Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, who serves as the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The Reading Corner at the Youth Centre is stocked with a variety of reading materials in both Malay and English, catering to different tastes and preferences.

The selection of reading materials will be updated every three months to align with the needs and requests from the Youth Centre, ensuring that the collection remains relevant and engaging for its visitors.
