Bandar seri begawan: 9 participants who completed the Short-Term Hospitality Course Programme at the Youth Development Centre signed their employment contracts, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey. The programme, designed to enhance youth development through skills training aligned with current industry demands, culminated in a signing and certificate presentation ceremony at the CORE, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, on the afternoon of November 20th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin Binti Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The participants, who underwent practical training at selected hotels for over a month, signed contracts alongside representatives from these hotels. This initiative not only acknowledged the participants’ achievements but also paved the way for them to embark on careers in the hospitality sector.
