Berakas: In conjunction with the National Literature Symposium, the ‘Malam Mutiara Shukri Zain’ was held on the night of November 19th at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas. The event aimed to honor the working paper presenters and the staff who organized the Symposium.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was graced by the presence of Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The event featured poetry declamations of the works of Shukri Zain along with performances by local literature enthusiasts. The ceremony was further enlivened with a stage performance by the Putra Seni Group.
