Tutong: A Dusun man has embraced Islam as his new faith in a conversion ceremony held at the Kampung Birau Mosque in the Tutong District. The man, formerly known as Awang Danish Adeeka bin Luhazemi, has taken on the name Awang Ahmad Danish Adeeka bin Luhazemi following the ceremony.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was highlighted by a Dikir Marhaban and Doa Selamat, traditional elements that signify the joyous occasion of conversion. Throughout the year, a total of 267 people have converted to Islam, with 70 of these new converts hailing from the Tutong District. This statistic underscores the growing acceptance and practice of Islam within the region.
