Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah attended a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince's 52nd Birthday celebration. The event was organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, serving as the Secretariat of the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans, DANA. It was held at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan's Building Complex in the capital, during the late afternoon of February 20th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Royal Highness was greeted upon arrival by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Member of the Yayasan Committee of Governors. He was joined by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the DANA Board of Trustees, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health and Deputy Chairman of the DANA Board of Trustees.

The ceremony began with the reading of Surah Yaasin, followed by the Doa Kesyukuran for the Crown Prince's birthday. Attendees then participated in breaking the fast and a mass Fardu Maghrib prayer, led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustafa bin Haji Murat. Members of the Yayasan's Board of Directors and DANA Board of Trustees were also in attendance.
