Jeddah: The first group of Brunei's haj pilgrims departed from King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah at 9:22 PM local Saudi Arabia time.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Haji Farhan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani, the Acting Consul General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah, was present at the airport to bid farewell to the pilgrims.
