Brunei: The First Meeting of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 80th Birthday Celebration Committee was convened simultaneously in all districts this morning.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in the Brunei Muara District, the meeting was chaired by Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the Acting Brunei Muara District Officer. The meeting focused on discussing the format and programme for the Get-Together ceremony. Members of the Legislative Council were also in attendance.

In the Belait District, the meeting took place at the Belait District Office where Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, the Acting Belait District Officer, delivered a speech. He emphasized the importance of cooperation and commitment from all parties to ensure the smooth execution of the event. A Member of the Legislative Council was also present.

The Tutong District's meeting was held at the Dewan Utama of the Tutong Civic Centre Complex, chaired by Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, the Acting Tutong District Officer. Attendance also included a Member of the Legislative Council, marking the significance of the occasion across all districts.
