Tutong: 'Jom Makan Food Fest' is an initiative to promote local food products, empower youth entrepreneurs, and enliven Tutong District. The festival was launched last night at the Tutong Civic Centre Complex Field in Tutong District. It is organized by RPN Bukit Beruang Consultative Council for Zone One and Two, and The Occasions Company, in partnership with the Tutong Youth and Sports Department, with support from the Tutong District Office.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the launching was officiated by Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. The event coincided with a donation and souvenir presentation. The 5-day event is open until this Sunday, 17th of May, from 10 in the morning until 12 midnight. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council.
