Bangkok: After watching the 33rd SEA Games’ polo final match, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Bangkok, Thailand. Prior to departure, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

According to Radio Television Brunei, present at Suvarnabhumi International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty was Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah. Also present were a member of Privy Councillor and Ms. Pimduan Nagaviroj, Minister Counsellor at the Reception Division of Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports; and His Excellency Pengiran Haji Sahari Pengiran Haji Salleh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Thailand, were in attendance.
