During the meeting, His Majesty welcomed deeper cooperation in the oil and gas industry. The discussion also highlighted the importance of safeguarding mutual bilateral interests, particularly in food security. His Majesty expressed interest in further enhancing economic ties in the agri-food and aquaculture sectors. Additionally, Viet Nam’s interest in strengthening linkages in the halal industry was welcomed.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in His Majesty’s titah, there was an expression of confidence that bilateral relations would continue to thrive through the agreements signed during the State Visit. His Majesty also extended an invitation for the Vietnamese President to make a State Visit to Brunei Darussalam.
