Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Home Affairs and its departments marked the Ilal Hijrah Celebration with a ceremony organized by the Department of Immigration and National Registration at the Ministry on the afternoon of 20th June.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Coordinating Minister for Social and Manpower Policies and Minister of Home Affairs. The highlight of the ceremony was a special talk titled "Dari Niat Ke Tindakan; Menjayakan Hijrah Kehidupan," which emphasized that true hijrah goes beyond merely having the intention to change; it involves real, consistent, and continuous actions towards self-improvement. Members of the Legislative Council were also present at the event.
