This includes ensuring that every Umrah pilgrim is covered by a comprehensive takaful or insurance plan starting from the moment they leave Brunei Darussalam until they return to the country, with the aim of guaranteeing the welfare and well-being of the pilgrims, in case of unforeseen circumstances.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in a meeting with Umrah operators using the Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa, Pengiran Haji Haslin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Acting Assistant Director of Haj Management, stressed that all Umrah Package Operators must always be transparent and provide complete explanations on the Umrah packages on offer. This is to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding. The explanations include the distance of the hotel from the mosque area, food provision, flight schedules, tour programs, and additional charges, if any.
