Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Development and its associated departments organized a Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil Ceremony to honor the late Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The event took place at the Royal Mausoleum on the afternoon of February 28th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the delegation for the ceremony was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, the Minister of Development. This religious gathering was part of the ministry's activities in observance of Ramadhan, reflecting their commitment to honoring the memory of the royal family members.
