Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Finance and Economy recently hosted a ceremony to commemorate Nuzul Al-Qur'an, which included a donation presentation to orphans and an announcement of the results of the Al-Qur'an Verses Recitation Competition. The event took place at the Ministry's premises.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal, and featured a Special Talk titled "Strengthening the Learning of Al-Qur'an and Internalising Its Teachings." The talk was delivered by Awang Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustapa, a Religious Development Officer and Assistant Head of the Da'wah Development Division.

Additionally, the ceremony included the presentation of donations to 19 orphans and the awarding of prizes to the winners of the Qari and Qariah categories in the Al-Qur'an Verses Recitation Competition. Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal, was also present at the event.
